RMA is the short form of “returned material authorization”. It is a numeric identifier to indicate that a customer has been authorized by Kontron Compact Computers, to return a product to Kontron Compact Computers for repair. The RMA is similar to a tracking number, which identifies a transaction, and both parties can get information on the progress of the transaction by using the RMA. Kontron Compact Computers requests the use of the RMA system also for any material from customer to be sent temporary to Kontron Compact Computers, like LCDs (for adaptation), test systems etc.

Before you can return a defective system or board to us, please register on our website. After registration confirmation you must register your RMA yourself.

The procedure

On support.kcc-ag.ch

• choose which type of device you would like to return.

o If you are already a registered customer, simply login.

o If you are not yet registered click register. Fill out the form and submit it. Within 24 hours the system will

recognize and activate your registration and you will be notified by email.

• After login, in the list on the left, choose "NEW RMA" and fill the form. Scroll down and confirm with AGM.
