The Clinical Workstation is one of the most advanced medical PC systems on the market. When the world leading brand for dentist's offices and dental labs required the processor technology for its digital X-ray tool, Kontron designed a full custom PowerPC® module, which later became the beginning for the E²Brain family of products. The module from Kontron fits on the customer's carrier board which contains all interfaces to the application. As individual as patients and treatment plans, the program settings adapt to the patient based upon the built-in positioning and measurement features.
