SCOPE

SCOPE is an industry alliance committed to accelerating the deployment of carrier grade base platforms for service provider applications. Its mission is to help, enable and promote the availability of open carrier grade base platforms based on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) hardware / software and Free Open Source Software (FOSS) building blocks, and to promote interoperability to better serve Service Providers and consumers.
CoDeSys Automation Alliance

End users in the field of mechanical or plant engineering are no longer willing to accept individual solutions. That is why standards such as OPC for SCADA systems or the manufacturer independant IEC 61131-3 standard for programming industrial controllers have established themselves on the market.
Nowadays, there is a further demand among end users for the networking of heterogenous components, their interoperability and above all, the programming of these systems with only one single software tool. The partner concept CoDeSys Automation Alliance not only fulfills these requiremtents, but is also a logical extension of the process of standardization mentioned above.
